In Icelandic, the word for volcano is "eldfjall." Surrounded with a floating Maple frame finished in vintage brass to complement this series' warmer tones.

This triptych (meaning 3-piece series) is crafted from an incredibly unique slab of European Elm Cluster. This slab has a "live edge" on almost every side, making the resulting series more sculptural than typical slabs that are cut and manufactured into sheets of lumber with only one natural "live" edge.  Up close, you can see the texture of the live edges disappearing into the depth of the onyx background.

This is our first four-piece series, featuring almost perfectly square panels that draw the eye along a volcanic river, resembling the volcanic frozen rivers that flow through Southern Iceland. This series is crafted from European Elm Cluster (English Elm) and features natural “swirls” of onyx. In Icelandic, the word for volcano is "eldfjall."

Can be hung horizontally or vertically for very different statements
