d. Mythos Unbound

This triptych (meaning 3-piece series) is crafted from an incredibly unique slab of European Elm Cluster. This slab has a "live edge" on almost every side, making the resulting series more sculptural than typical slabs that are cut and manufactured into sheets of lumber with only one natural "live" edge.  Up close, you can see the texture of the live edges disappearing into the depth of the onyx background.

Crafted from a highly figured slab of Spalted Maple, this desk has been etched with an elegant pinstripe of ebony epoxy. Hand-sanded and finished with a protective layer of natural wood oil.  Aluminum legs available in Satin Bronze (Shown), Brushed Aluminum, or Black. Well-suited for use as a desk or library table.

Why Redwood Falls? This desk is aptly named for the city of Redwood Falls in Minnesota.  Standing on its end, the slab's natural shape approximates the outline of the state of Minnesota.  Where Redwood Falls "falls" in its geography is a natural, dark knot from which ribbons of maple (what is known as the "spalted" pattern) emanate outward.

Crafted from a highly figured slab of Spalted Maple and featuring cooler blonde and gray tones, this 2-piece series is strikingly similar to the surreal frozen, black volcanic rivers that flow through miles of sand and glacial debris, winding their way to the coast of Southern Iceland. In Icelandic, the word for volcano is "eldfjall."

This series is crafted from European Elm Cluster (English Elm) and features natural “swirls” of onyx. In Icelandic, the word for volcano is "eldfjall."
